About the conference
The inaugural McGill Quantum Centre (MQC) Conference brings together researchers from across McGill University, other Quebec institutions, and the broader quantum community to exchange ideas, showcase research, and foster new connections and collaborations.
Taking place on October 13–14, 2026, the 1.5-day conference will feature local and international speakers presenting research across our three main themes: Quantum Materials, Quantum Optics and Photonics, and Quantum Information. The program will also include a poster session, providing students and researchers with an opportunity to share their work and engage with conference participants.
As the first conference of the MQC, this event aims to highlight the breadth of quantum research at McGill and beyond, while strengthening connections across institutions within our quantum community.
